Receive Grace For More Grace In May, By AKO

Ephesians 2:8

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Beloved in Christ,

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. I write to stir your heart toward a deeper understanding of a divine mystery that governs the believer’s journey: the inexhaustible flow of grace, grace received, and grace multiplied.

The sacred testimony of the Scripture declares in John 1:16 as follows: And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace. This expression unveils a continuous exchange, an ongoing supply where one measure of grace makes way for another. It is not a stagnant endowment, but a living current. God does not merely give grace once; He administers it progressively, strategically, and abundantly.

To receive grace for more grace is to live in spiritual alignment with divine provision. It is to recognize that every level of growth, every victory over sin, every endurance in hardship, and every manifestation of purpose is enabled not by human strength, but by God’s unmerited favor actively at work within us.

Grace initiates salvation. It is by grace that we are called out of darkness into marvelous light. No man earns redemption; it is a gift freely given. Yet, the same grace that saves is also the grace that sustains. Many receive saving grace but fail to walk in sustaining grace. The former brings you into the kingdom; the latter establishes you in it.

There is also enabling grace, the divine empowerment to live righteously in a fallen world. This grace teaches, corrects, and strengthens. It equips the believer to overcome the impulses of the flesh and to embody the character of Christ. Without this grace, the Christian life becomes a burden; with it, obedience becomes a delight.

Similarly, there is progressive grace. God never intends for His children to remain at one level of spiritual maturity. As you faithfully steward the grace already given, through obedience, humility, prayer, and the study of the Word, you position yourself to receive more. Grace expands where it is honored. It multiplies where it is applied.

However, grace is not automatic in its increase. Scripture affirms that God resists the proud but gives more grace to the humble.

Pride blocks the flow; humility invites abundance. When a believer becomes self-sufficient, grace withdraws its visible operation. But where there is a broken and contrite heart, grace flows freely and generously.

Consider also that grace is often administered through seasons, some are pleasant, while others are challenging. Trials are not contradictions of grace but channels of it. In moments of weakness, grace becomes most evident. For when strength fails, divine sufficiency emerges. Thus, what appears as pressure may actually be preparation for a higher measure of grace.

To receive grace for more grace, one must remain connected to the Source. Christ Himself is the embodiment of grace. A life rooted in Him, through communion, dependence, and surrender, ensures an uninterrupted supply of grace. Disconnect from Him, and the flow diminishes; abide in Him, and grace abounds.

Let it be clearly understood beloved: grace is not a license for complacency. It is not an excuse to remain in spiritual infancy or moral compromise. Rather, it is the divine resource that empowers transformation. True grace produces growth, not stagnation; holiness, not indulgence; diligence, not passivity.

Therefore, beloved, cultivate a posture that attracts grace: Walk in humility, acknowledging your dependence on God.

Pursue intimacy with Him through prayer and meditation.

Obey promptly and faithfully when His Word instructs.

Remain teachable, allowing the Spirit to refine you.

And above all, extend grace to others, for grace multiplies in the life of one who gives it freely.

In conclusion, understand this: the Christian journey is not sustained by effort alone, but by grace upon grace. Each new level of responsibility requires a fresh supply. Each new challenge demands a greater measure. God has not designed your life to run dry, His fullness is your inheritance.

May you not only receive grace, but steward it wisely, so that more grace may abound in you and through you at all seasons.

Grace be with you all beyond this month and year, in Jesus name.

Gracias!
